JDP VIDEO specializes in sports cinematography, TV shows, documentaries, and corporate interviews, helping producers and marketing companies worldwide cover their video production needs with the most professional and qualified video crews.
JDP VIDEO is owned and operated by Joel Hinrichs. Hailing from the East St. Louis, IL area, he began photography at 15. After achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Film from the University of West Florida, he started freelancing as a Director of Photography in 2011 and has been honing his craft ever since.
Joel is passionate about many hobbies, including music production, hiking, photography, and yoga, to cultivate a mindful approach to the media industry. He focuses on positive collaborations that empower the crew and producers to enjoy a better on-set experience. Joel supports old-school video production techniques with a new-school attitude and approach.
